I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were missing some basic amenities like soap and toilet paper, and the noise from the neighboring room was a bit bothersome. On the positive side, the hotel's location was convenient for shopping and dining.
I found the hotel location very convenient, being near the mall and other shopping areas in Columbia, South Carolina. The rooms, despite being cozy, had an issue with the kitchenette being out of order and lacked enough pillows on the bed. The service, while prompt in fixing issues, sometimes made me feel like an inconvenience, especially during registration and asking for information. The proximity to shopping centers was a big plus for me, but it made the rooms a bit noisy. The dining experience was a pleasure, with gyudon dishes available on-site.
My stay at this hotel was a nightmare. The rooms were infested with bugs, filthy, and had a strong smell. The hotel lacked basic amenities like a phone in the room and a garbage can. The service was appalling with unhelpful and rude staff. The location was sketchy and not recommended for anyone. I would never go back here.
